Ajax Wanderers have partnered with Elite Training System to offer an EXCLUSIVE Long Term Athlete Development Program.
As the summer rugby season comes to a close many are wondering what is in store for the winter months for our Ajax Wanderers players – indoor training? touch rugby? Well we are please to announce that this winter we will be launching our Long Term Athlete Development program.
The Ajax Wanderers have partnered with Elite Training Systems (ETS) to help our membership be the best they can be. ETS are the current training facility of Rugby Ontario and also are the Ontario training facility for the Canadian Senior Men’s 7’s captain John Moonlight.
This program will run for 2 10 weeks and Session 1 will begin Wednesday October 12th – it will go every Wednesday till December 14th – 7:00 pm each week, space is limited, you must register with an e-mail reply to firstname.lastname@example.org by Sunday October 2nd – this program is for the individual and is not being run as a age group team, anyone not registered will not be permitted to participate.
Cost for the 10 weeks is $100.00 and must be paid in full by the beginning of the first session. Session 1 will focus on the off field strength conditioning/ nutrition/ and training habits – Session 2 beginning in January 2017 will focus on a continuation of session 1 plus we will be adding rugby skills elements with a session of dome space added each week.
This Long Term Athlete Development program is being offered to all Wanderers members from the birth year of 2003 and older. Training and targets will be designed based on age and ability so the focus is long term and growth is the goal.
